Flood Warning
Issued: 11:52 AM EST Feb. 18, 2018 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Cannelton lock.
* From Monday afternoon until further notice.
* At 11:00 am Sunday the stage was 41.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Monday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 43.2 feet by Friday morning. Additional
rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 42.0 feet... agricultural flooding begins near Cloverport
and Cannelton. Highway 66 floods near Derby and Dexter. Rocky Point
girl scout Camp is affected.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 43.2
feet on Mar 25 2002.
