... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EST this
afternoon...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Snow accumulations ranging
from nothing near Interstate 80, to between 2 and 3 inches near
the New York border. Ice accumulations of one tenth to two
tenths of an inch are expected, with locally higher amounts
possible over the high terrain near and just to the north of
Interstate 80.

* Where... portions of central Pennsylvania.

* When... snowfall rates around one inch per hour are possible at
times between 8 am and 1 PM today near and to the north of Route
6 across Pennsylvania's northern tier. Significant rates of
icing are also possible during this period over the highest
elevations between Route 6 and Interstate 80.

* Additional details... the mixed precipitation will result in
difficult travel conditions, including during the morning
commute on Thursday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on
driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania

Areal Flood Watch
Issued: 11:29 AM EST Feb. 22, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Flood Watch in effect through Sunday evening...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a

* Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including
the following areas, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron,
Clearfield, Elk, Fulton, Huntingdon, McKean, northern centre,
northern Clinton, Potter, Somerset, southern centre, southern
Clinton, and Warren.

* Through Sunday evening

* water levels continue to run high and soils are saturated. With
several periods of rain forecast through the weekend, this will
increase the threat of flooding across the region. Additional
rainfall of two to three inches is possible.

* Monitor forecasts closely and be alert for possible flood warnings.
Those living in flood prone areas should be prepared to take
action should flooding develop.
