... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 am to 6 PM EST
Thursday...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of
3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a coating to one tenth of
an inch are expected. Local snow accumulations up to 6 inches
are possible.

* Where... in Pennsylvania, Bradford County. In New York, Yates,
Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Cortland, Chenango,
Otsego, Tioga, Broome and Delaware counties.

* When... from 4 am to 6 PM EST Thursday. The heaviest period of
snow is expected from about 10 am to 3 PM. Snow could fall at
rates nearing 1 inch per hour during this time.

* Additional details... the snow and ice will result in difficult
travel conditions on Thursday. Be prepared for reduced
visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
