... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon akst
Tuesday...

* what... heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on difficult
travel conditions. Total snow accumulations of 4 inches south of
the Koyukuk river, with up to 10 inches northwest of the Koyukuk
river. Blowing snow will cause low visibility over Dalton
Highway summits.

* Where... upper Koyukuk valley.

* When... through noon Tuesday. The heaviest snow will be today and
tonight. The strongest winds and worst blowing snow will be
today. Blowing snow will taper off Tuesday morning.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow over Dalton Highway summits
today.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe
winter weather conditions are occurring. This will make travel
