So, for any of you who know me, today was a very big day for me. I sang with the "choir" (it's a small group, only 5 of us today). I like to sing but since my music teacher in elementary school told me I couldn't sing I've never done it. I've shyed away from vocal music, hiding behind better voices. Today I did it. We sang some great hymns and some songs I didn't really know very well but my heart was in the right place so I think it went fine. I'm certainly not looking for any glory here, just proud that I had the courage to stand in front of others and help lead.

We had a momentary lapse back into fall at the end of the week but it's snowing again today with several inches expected. We did get the RV winterized but some of the other things that would have been easier without snow just didn't happen. We will have to finish putting up the Christmas lights later. Fall is rushing by very quickly so it'll be time to turn them on soon.

DH leaves late Monday night to visit family. I wish I could go but it's just not practical. The AF pays his way in a sense, he rents a car in DC and drives to see them when he goes there for meetings. He'll get to see my family too, which is nice that he does that but sad for me cause I miss it. I'll be busy here, we begin moving into the new chapel on Wednesday. For now I need to get myself moving - the house is a wreck and I have a few hours before the next meeting.
