Note: This is a PBS (Public Broadcasting System) program available through our local Twin Cities PBS station TPT-2 over the internet. This program is 53 minutes in length and requires a broadband connection of at least 1.5 to 2.0 megabits per second to watch. The link will take you directly to the TPT-2 website so it doesn't use any of Weather Underground's bandwidth. The video works pretty much like a YouTube video.

I highly recommend this program as it shows the problems involved with forecasting tornadoes and the latest research being done towards giving more advance time warnings to help protect the public from these monsters.

Having a heatwave

Well after a long cold and dry Winter, we are getting back into Spring like weather pretty quickly. After having some 50's and 60's we are finally seeing the 70's and maybe even 80's by Friday. I have noted a common problem in photos taken by a number of photographers here on WunderGround that I used to run into until I learned an important part of digital photography.
