Happy Veteran's Day to all you veterans out there. From one vet to another, thanks for your service and commitment to the code of conduct. Particularly to those who have had to employ that code.

The tropics are, once again, quiet. There aren't even any waves discussed in the TPC Tropical Weather Discussion. It won't be much longer before I'll transition to a winter weather discussion.

If you look at visible images you can still see the low level circulation that was Paloma moving SW across central Cuba. Strong shear in the region will prevent any regeneration of that system.
