I will be leaving for awhile and just wanted to post this. There is still a large amount of differences in the models for next week on where any development may occur. I have maintained that I do not believe this will be a below average season, but that will depend on the timing, strength and type of El Nino event that will occur.

92L: I do not know where this will end up. Indications now are that it will be moving SW for a short time but I expect it to start moving to the East or Northeast soon.

Possible Caribbean Disturbance:

The GFS has shifted the direction on this on its latest run, moving more over central Cuba and entering the Bahamas around the May 24th time frame. This is quite a change in the strength and timing of earlier runs. If anything were to develop, the most likely place would be beneath Cuba and east of the Yucatan. Because of the atmosphere conditions in the upper latitudes, it is not unusual to see a sudden drop of pressure in this area. Look for something trying to develp there from Tuesday through Thursday around the 16 & 17.

The Euro,on the other hand, is not showing much development in this area, but rather showing a strong system developing East of Florida and moving closer to the Carolina Coast and moving up the Eastern Seabord. The scenario is becoming more likely.

The ECMFW has consistently been calling for development of a strong system in the Eastern Pacific. This is becoming more likely

In her last year she spent a great deal of time in a wheelchair, although everything else was perfectly fine. One day most of my family was away and I was alone with my Mother in the den watching television. I must have fallen asleep on the couch, because I hear...

Easter is celebrated differently in different countries. Here are a few:In Germany the Easter bunny was a fox and called der Osterfuchs. His eggs were all yellow. It is now common that the children now wait for der Osterhasse. (a rabbit). Easter trees, orginally found in Germany, are now becoming common in the US.In Norway, there is a quite unusual celebration which captivates the entire country. It is called Påskekrimmen, which roughly translated means "Easte...

A friend of mine sent this to me recently. He said I could recopy it. It is a short essay written by one of his students; a junior in high school. My friend said he laughed at first, then almost cried. It is a pitiful reflection of the state of our education. Why Daylight Savings Time Should be AbolishedDaylight Savings time should be abolished for many reasons. Most I agree with. I think that having one hour of daylight more is bad for plants life and could int...
