The National Weather Service in Cleveland has cancelled the lake effect snow warning. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 am EST Sunday.
Lake effect snow showers will continue into the early evening with additional accumulations expected to be 2 inches or less.
A general light snow will then develop and is expected to continue through the night. Heavier snow may develop by Saturday morning and persist into the afternoon. Total snowfall amounts of 6 to 8 inches will be possible... especially across southern Erie County.
