Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 09:39 PM EDT die 11o March, anno 2014
... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 8 am Wednesday
to 2 am EDT Thursday...
* accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches... along
with a glaze of ice.
* Timing... rain will develop late tonight and then change to snow
late Wednesday morning. As the rain transitions to snow there
could be a period of freezing rain and sleet. The snow will
taper off through the evening.
* Winds... north 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions are expected due to
snow... sleet and ice covered roads.
A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions such as snow... blowing snow... sleet...
freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be
significant... the word advisory implies that severe winter
