...Record low temperatures set or tied across Vermont and New York...

The low temperature at Burlington Vermont this morning was 32 degrees. This ties the record low for the date which was set back in 1959.

The low temperature at Saint Johnsbury Vermont this morning was 29 degrees. This ties the record low for the date which was set back in 1943.

A new record low temperature was set at Massena New York this morning. The low temperature was 28 which breaks the old record of 30 set back in 2008.

The cold temperatures of this morning have resulted in a freeze or heavy frost across much of Vermont and northern New York. As such...the National Weather Service in Burlington will no longer be issuing frost or freeze advisories or warnings this season for the following forecast zones:
