01/06/2009 0500 PM Oxford, Calhoun County. Thunderstorm wind damage, reported by NWS storm survey. A few dozen large trees were uprooted or were snapped off. The damage area was approximately 1.5 miles long and 0.5 miles wide. One Mobile home was destroyed when a tree fel on it. One apartment complex susatined when a tree fell on it. At least 2 dozen structures sustained varying degrees of mainly rrof damage.
