North winds up to 30 knots veering northeast 15 to 25 knots after midnight. Cloudy. Isolated rain showers through midnight. Waves building to 7 to 10 feet...then subsiding to 5 to 8 feet.
Tuesday
Northeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves subsiding to 3 to 5 feet.
Tuesday Night
East winds less than 10 knots veering southeast after midnight. Clear. Waves subsiding to calm to 2 feet.

...Small Craft Advisory in effect from noon today to 6 PM EDT Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Small Craft Advisory...which is in effect from noon today to 6 PM EDT Tuesday.

* Wind and waves during the small craft advisory: expect sustained winds of up to 28 knots from the north...with gusts up to 30 knots. The largest expected significant waves will be 10 feet with a maximum wave height of up to 14 feet possible.

* Timing: the maximum winds are expected around 9 PM EDT Monday with the largest waves expected around 11 PM EDT Monday.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 22 to 33 knots are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
